Creating Pippa
Creating a bespoke control board and enclosure with 3D printing
Heber worked with the client to create a totally bespoke design and shape for Pippa, an AI kitchen safety device.
We used 3D print design and prototypes to design the shape of the elctronic control board, allowing us to ensure everything was placed correctly and would work in the best way possible.
Once the board was designed, Heber created a bespoke test rig for Pippa, allowing our manufacturing team to quickly test and check the boards.
We also worked with the client to design a prototype case. The benefit of this was it was quick and easy to change the design and print new versions so we were able to create the perfect design. This was then used to manufacture the injection moulded fire-retardant plastic case.
