Pippa – AI Stove Monitor
Pippa is a smart device which protects you, your home and your family from the dangers of kitchen fires. It has been developed to assist with aspects of safety and cooking on any electric, gas or induction cooker hob.
Pippa is a brand new, patented, invention that can prevent fires before they start. Jointly developed by Heber and Pippa Technologies, Pippa detects potential risks of fire on your stove and warning you.
With its advanced early warning system, Pippa detects potential stove fire hazards and alerts you promptly, ensuring peace of mind for all.
Early fire detection
Pippa uses an intelligent thermal imaging sensor to detect cooking risks, alerting you verbally before a dangerous situation occurs. Pippa also phones and texts you a warning if you are out of hearing range.
It is constantly looking out for cooking hazards such as a pan burning, hot oil, if the stove has been left on and if something has started to ignite. Not only does this help prevent fires, it also helps to stop you burning your food, ruining your pans and filling your home with potentially cancer causing smoke and particulates.

Cooking Assistance
Pippa Smart AI can also connect to your phone via Bluetooth and give you live temperatures of all your pans. You can set a desired cooking temperature and Pippa will tell you when the pan is at the right temperature, when to turn the heat up or down, and when your food is cooked.

Streamlined Design
Heber helped to design the software and casing for Pippa, working closely with the creator in this joint development.
Using our 3D printing expertise we worked with Pippa to create prototypes for both the PCB design and enclosure for the final product. This allowed us to create a device which is unobtrusive and functional. The unit can be fixed onto a wall, cupboard or cooker unit.
We also created a bespoke test unit for Pippa, meaning the unit could be tested quickly and effectively in-house.
e.on Homes for Living Scheme
Pippa has been included in e.on’s ‘Homes for Living’ scheme. The Homes for Living programme offers a suite of carefully curated free products products, designed to meet the needs of ageing individuals, offering home aids to support mobility, wellbeing and independence. Each product was chosen for its ability to encourage mobility with confidence, without compromising on home aesthetics or personal dignity.
