At the start of 2017, Heber launched two brand new products to complement its range of Pluto gaming products – the Pluto PSU Sanken compatible power supply, and the Pluto A300 super fast gaming controller.
The new Pluto PSU is a 100% Sanken SPS077W compatible drop-in replacement power supply unit and will support all customers currently using the highly successful Pluto 5 and Pluto 6 embedded gaming platforms in their AWP machines. Heber decided to manufacture and sell its own equivalent unit after significant demand from customers. To ensure that the Pluto PSU is both electrically and mechanically compatible with the previous Sanken unit, it has been designed by some of the original developers.
The Pluto A300 is an all-in-one, super-fast embedded gaming controller targeted at the casino, bingo and street gaming markets. With outstanding 4K UHD graphics, the Pluto A300 is based on the AMD Embedded G-Series I Family SOC processor. Designed for demanding embedded needs, it incorporates dual excavator cores running at 1.3GHz, an AMD Radeon R6E graphics engine and state-of-the-art-power management for reduced energy consumption. It also supports two display ports, dual channel DDR4 memory, dual mSATA sockets with RAID redundancy and incorporates a Heber-defined I/O slot connector that will support a range of new USB and PCIe gaming IO products, to offer the appropriate set feature for each gaming market segment.
